Townhome Community Storm Drain Solution
Project Scope: The stormwater was flooding into townhome doorways and required installing a drainage solution and connecting it to the municipal storm drain network. Here are the steps we took to resolve the problem:
- Excavate trench, compact earth, install pipe
- Install drains at grade with inlet protections
- Dig under Verizon cable, bench walls of excavated trench to avoid danger of collapse
- View of the stormwater system connection point
- View of project obstructions: main irrigation service, main power box that required hand digging
- View of the left side where the project meets the 40-foot retaining wall
